As much as 16 lakhs of notes bagged, 2 culprits arrested. Today police nabbed a foreign racket involved in making fake currency. A detailed report by Commissioner is as follows.

City police commissioner, Shanker Baidri, told two persons are arrested in this case. Giving a brief explanation, he told that 500 and 1000 rupee fakes notes to make total of whopping 16 lakhs, found from Anwar-ul-shaik now belonging to west bangal and Babu, Tamilnadu. Initial inquiry by police revealed that fake currency came from Pakistan and smuggled to Bangladesh.

Miscreants sell 1 lakh of fake currency for 40 thousands of original bucks. He is also informed that the fake notes are very much similar to original one, in appearance. It’s hard for a common man, specially to villagers to distinguish it from original currency. A group officials will raid many places to grab other such rackets.

Commissioner also told that he’ll sent a request to the state government, to give this case to CBI for future and enhanced inquiry. An award of 50 thousands for theĀ  police staff, who nabbed the racket, is announced.
