In an irony turn, police blamed for forcing Viqar to confess the crime.
Viqaruddin Ahmed, who attacked police personnel in December 2008 was arrested along with five of his associates here on 14 July. Yesterday Viqar confessed that he along with his other members attacked police constable and is behind Mecca Masjid blast, where 9 people were killed.
Viqar said, “I decided to take revenge against police personnel and to eliminate Sangh Parivar because I felt Sangh Parivar was responsible for the blast in Mecca Masjid” in the previous statement and now confesses all these. The folks of the miscreants allegedly blame police that they forced Viqar to confess the horrific crime. Magistrate called for immediate medical to these 6-gang members. Their family members says that after arresting Haneef, Riyaz, Syeed, Syed Amjad, Viqar and Zakir police tortured them cruelly, unable to bare the torture they forcibly accepted the crime, they have been given shock treatment. 13 cases are booked against Viqar in between 2003-2010.
After hearing their plea magistrate ordered Charlapalli Jail’s superintendent to give necessary medical treatment. Under the IPC section 124(A), 121, 120(B), 307, 302 cases were booked on these 6 terrorists. No plea have submitted for their release on bail.
