Mohali, 30 march 2011, The STAGE was perfectly set. The ATMOSPHERE was electrifying.
From a School Boy to the PRIME MINISTER of a country was present…
This is not any scene from a RGV’s movie but a real live, life time experience of a INDIA-PAKISTAN Cricket match.. It was touted to be the most awaited and exciting game of the tournament, and it lived upto its expectations. People from all quarters and sections of the society were present at MOHALI and for a change even the PUNJAB Airport witnessed a traffic jam as that of the roads… In the end what people had came with expectations, they got more than their share of excitement which they will cherish for the rest of their lives.

It was touted to be the battle of INDIAN BATTING with PAKISTAN BOWLING because of their superiority not only in paper but also on field. However it was the bowling and fielding of the INDIAN side which created the Indian total, a mirage for Pakistanis, which they were never were even close to. Again the backbone of the Indian batting, SACHIN TENDULKAR, stood up-to the pressure and scored an errorful but a vigilant knock of 83, which set a fighting total of 160 for the opponents. Though not a huge total, but the ever lucky charm of the M S DHONI and a new found zeal and commitment in Indian fielding and Bowling created a par score into a fighting total and in the end THE HISTORY REPEATED ITSELF AND INDIA REMAINED UNDEFEATED BY THE PAKISTANI’S IN THE WORLD CUP.

Fittingly our own SACHIN TENDULKAR won the MAN OF THE MATCH and is all set for the final frontier at his Home ground,
which is-

“THE WORLD CUP”.
